SUNCRUZ CO-SPONSORED “GOLF FORE EDUCATION” EVENT RAISES $6,000 FOR NMB HIGH SCHOOL

The theme shifted from swinging to marching as proceeds from the Golf Fore Education charity tournament were recently presented to North Myrtle Beach High School.

The tournament was held in February at Long Bay Golf Club and presented by SunCruz Myrtle Beach and the Golf Gurus of Myrtle Beach. In total, the tournament raised $6,000 for the school, including over $3,000 to send the school's marching band to perform at Disney World.

Former World Boxing Association Heavyweight Champion James "Bonecrusher" Smith played in the tournament. Joining Smith was a number of local golf celebrities, including Marlene Floyd, sister of Raymond Floyd, and a fun Elvis impersonator.

Satellite rounds have begun on SunCruz Casino® ships for the Fifth Annual World Offshore Slot tournament.

With a "Slots of Fortune" game show theme, the tournament promises to award a veritable fortune of over $200,000 in cash and prizes. On cruises through the end of April, guests can enter satellite rounds for only a $5 entry fee.

Giant dice and large cash prizes are the hallmarks of the latest onboard event on the SunCruz fleet of casino ships.

With "The Dice Is Right," players can roll the dice free every cruise in March for a chance to win their share of over $1 million in total cash prizes. Five lucky players every cruise will then roll the giant dice in the casino for hundreds of dollars cash, and the semifinals every Sunday in March will give the winners the chance to win thousands more.
